Students from the Preston Military Preparation Course completed a Three Peaks Challenge this month to raise money for Broughton House, a Salford care home for ex-servicemen. The teenagers were put through their paces at West View Leisure Centre in Ribbleton where they climbed the equivalent of Ben Nevis, Snowdon & Scafell Pike. In total the group raised an impressive £500 in sponsorship money which was presented by two students to Broughton House the following week. |
